Yossi Benayoun, le milieu de terrain de Liverpool, a fait part de son malaise concernant sa situation à Liverpool. L'international israélien n'exclut pas un départ lors du Mercato hivernal.


Yossi Benayoun en a marre de cirer le banc de Liverpool et le fait savoir : « Même si c'est Liverpool, la situation ne peut plus durer. Sinon j'irai voir ailleurs. Je ne suis pas venu ici pour cirer le banc » a déclaré le joueur dans la presse de son pays.

C'est la première fois que j'entends qu'un joueur souffre de sa polyvalence ?!?! Si il est polyvalent, et nous le savons qu'il l'est, il peut être utile dans plusieurs positions. Tu dis aussi, absence de point fort ? Dis moi pourquoi, Benitez aurait fait signer un joueur qui nous servirait à rien et qui manque de point fort ?!

Alors au lieu de critiquer le joueur que je trouve très bon, je pense qu'il faudrait l'expliquer par le fait que le milieux est un peu trop fournis.

Des joueurs qui ont souffert de leur polyvalence, il y en a eu des centaines. Surtout quand aux postes auxquels ils aspirent il y a des titulaires indéboulonnables. Carragher a ses débuts avait du malà s'imposer, il s'est fait trimballer à tous les postes, à gauche, à droite, en milieu défensif. Il a fallu l'affirmation de ses points forts en tant que center back pour qu'il puisse se poser en patron. Or, Benayoun n'a aucun point qui lui permette de s'imposer en tant que titulaire indiscutable dans l'équipe. Il est très bon techniquement, mais est très brouillon, et à 28 ans, je pense qu'il sera difficile d'en tirer mieux. Il dribble quand il ne faut pas, ne donne pas d'excellents centres. Je l'aime bien, j'ai même failli floquer mon nouveau maillot à son nom, mais les titulaires sont meilleurs que lui, s'il veut partir, je pense que la porte est grande ouverte (on en profitera pour lancer les minots, et ça m'étonnerait qu'il trouve une place de titulaire dans une "grande" équipe).

voila, un joueur peut évidemment souffrir d'une trop grande polyvalence, surtout si c'est au détriment d'un poste fort naturel.
un joueur d'un poste spécifique peut pouvoir jouer autre part ce sera un atout, mais s'il oscille sans cesse entre deux positions, ça peut être une faiblesse.

Sinon, l'explication par le milieu trop fourni ne tient pas vraiment. Parce que si l'on a pas mal de bons joueurs au centre, Yossi est le seul milieu axial au profil offensif avec Gerrard. sachant qu'il ne prendra jamais sa place, il aurait pu en être la doublure, avec quelques piges sur les cotés.
Mais son manque d'impact physique, sa vision limitée ne sont pas compensés par ses qualités de finisseur.
Finalement, c'est un joueur doté d'une bonne technique, mais qui ne l'utilise pas à bon escient.

Si il y a une bonne offre, autant le laisser partir. je pense qu'on pourra trouver un bon remplaçant.

Avec la blessure de Stevie G et une match a domicile contre une équipe que nous devons battre, Bena pourrait alors être titulaire (d'ailleurs ces propos servent-ils peut etre à ca), et dans ce cas, il sais qu'il aurait tout a prouver sur ce match, puisqu'un créateur pourrait (je met le conditionnel parce que je suis sur que le Xabi de ces temps peut le faire sans problème) manquer dans l'entre jeu!

Benayoun je l'ai trouvé plutôt bon la saison dernière mais il a fait de gros matchs surtout face aux petites équipes en Cup et Carling Cup et on se souvient de son triplé contre Besiktas mais c'était vraiment un match à part... Bref il nous manquera pas tant que ça, c'est un bon squad player sans plus !

Moi je crois qu'il faut regarder tout cela en détails.
Benayoun et Pennant font banquette c'est clair et établi avec le système de Rafa.
Franchement si ils partent,ils faudra les remplacer ,tout ce que j'espère c'est qu'ils ne plombent pas l'ambiance du vestiaire.

C'est clair ! Pennant en met de l'ambiance d'après ce que je sais.

Liverpool To Swap Benayoun For Elano?
The latest reports from England suggest that Manchester City's unsettled midfielder Elano could be headed for Liverpool in January, with Yossi Benayoun going the other way...


According to the News of the World, the Reds are willing to offer Benayoun plus young right-back Stephen Darby to lure Elano to Anfield.

The City playmaker's future has been under cloud ever since he lashed out at manager Mark Hughes' selection policy, an outburst which earned him a £40,000 fine.

After being an integral part of Sven-Goran Eriksson's side, the 27-year-old has spent more time on the sidelines this term following the arrivals of Robinho and Shaun Wright-Phillips. The rise of Stephen Ireland has hardly helped either.

Meanwhile, on Merseyside, Benayoun has become similarly frustrated with his lack of first-team opportunities, so much so that he publicly threatened to leave Liverpool should his situation not improve over the coming weeks.

But with new signing Albert Riera in fine form on the left and a revitalised Dirk Kuyt cementing a spot on the right, the Israeli midfielder's prospects under Rafael Benitez appear slim.

Both players only arrived at their respective clubs last year: Elano from Shakhtar Donetsk, Benayoun from West Ham United.

j'espère qu'il s'agit d'une grosse connerie cet article parce que ça me fend le coeur be yossi parte mais bon soit, mais certainement pas darby en prime !!! en plus, j'aime vraiment pas le jeu d'elano et dans l'histoire les 2 joueurs ne seraient pas gagnants puisqu'ils se retrouveraient dans la même situation, seul leur club changerait mais je vois pas elano jouer ni même yossi a city avec tous les joueurs déja présents !!!
enfin bon selon moi l'équipe qu'on a est indéboulonnable surtout qu'aurélio s'améliore a chaque match, il nous faudrait juste de bons et plus de remplacants !!!

Franchement je préfère Babel à Yossi, je pense qu'on aura plus à gagner en le vendant, et en recrutant un ailier plus percutant.

S'il veut partir mieux vaut le laisser partir,il ne faudrait pas qu'il pourisse l'ambiance,en plus rafa le fait peu jouer,c'est compréhensible pour un joueur. Ce qui m'agasse s'est qu'il lance des menaces comme ça dans la presse,il pourrait en discuter en privé avec rafa.

S'il faut le vendre vendons le et laissons sa chance à Babel ou recrutons un autre aillier plus percutant(si on en a les moyens).

YOSSI BENAYOUN is set to become the latest Liverpool star to commit his future to the Reds – after the Israeli international agreed terms on a new Anfield contract.

Benayoun has two years remaining on his current deal but after enjoying his best campaign yet in a Liverpool shirt last season, boss Rafa Benitez was keen to reward the 29-year-old with a contract extension.

Talks have now been concluded successfully and Benayoun is set to sign a one-year extension which will see him remain with Liverpool until 2012.

With doubts continuing to surround the futures of central midfield duo Xabi Alonso and Javier Mascherano, Benitez will be delighted to have retained the services of Benayoun, who moved to Anfield from West Ham United in a £5m transfer two years ago.

Promising youngsters Stephen Darby and Jay Spearing have also having agreed new three-year deals as Benitez moves swiftly to try and ensure the bulk of his current squad remains intact ahead of the coming season.

Although £16m Glen Johnson remains Liverpool’s one signing so far this summer, Benitez has retained the services of Reds stars Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Daniel Agger and Dirk Kuyt with all four having committed themselves to new long term contracts.

Benitez said: “We had to guarantee the future of the club first and then afterwards if you can improve then you must try to do so.

“This meant that the first thing we had to do this summer was to guarantee the futures of some of the players who are already here and we are happy that we have been able to do this in so many cases.”

Liverpool are yet to receive any offers for Alonso or Mascherano but with Real Madrid and Barcelona both having publicly confirmed their interest, it is likely to be only a matter of time before bids are made.

Real remain in the hunt for Alonso as club president Florentino Perez continues his attempts to snap up some of Europe’s finest footballing talent. While Barcelona have made no secret of the fact that they would like to add Mascherano to their ever roster of stars.

Meanwhile, boss Benitez was dividing his time today between Liverpool’s academy in Kirkby and the first team training base at Melwood as the preparations for the coming season get underway.

The majority of the first team squad returned to Melwood yesterday for a series of drills and tests ahead of pre-season trips to Switzerland, the Far East, Spain and Norway.

Glen Johnson will join up with his new team mates for the first time on Wednesday.

He will take part in his first Melwood training session having been allowed an extra few days off, along with skipper Steven Gerrard following their efforts on international duty with England at the end of last season.

The Reds Spanish contingent do not return until July 19 following their involvement in the recently concluded Confederations Cup.

Benitez was at the Academy to welcome the club’s latest batch of youngsters and also to meet with Anfield legend Kenny Dalglish on his first official day since rejoining the Reds.

Très bonne nouvelle, Yossi a vraiment les moyens de prendre une nouvelle dimension l'an prochain si il continue dans cette voie là.
Il ne fait que progresser année après année et a totalement éclipsé Babel.

Yossi Benayoun today spoke of his delight after signing a new deal to keep him at Anfield until 2013.
The 29-year-old put pen to paper on a two-year extension to his current deal this afternoon.

He told Liverpoolfc.tv: "I am very happy that we have reached an agreement. Of course, to be at a club like this is a dream come true and I want to keep playing here.

"Hopefully now I can concentrate on the hard work that needs to be done and try to play better and better and win some silverware."

The Israeli international, who moved to Anfield from West Ham in July 2007, scored nine goals in 42 appearances during 2008-09.

In February, Benayoun marked Liverpool's first ever competitive visit to the Bernabeu with the only goal as we beat Real Madrid in the Champions League last 16.

A dramatic stoppage-time winner at Fulham followed in April before our No.15 struck twice in the pulsating 4-4 draw with Arsenal at Anfield.

He follows Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Daniel Agger and Dirk Kuyt in committing his long-term future to the club.

Boss Rafa Benitez said: "You know that our idea was to extend the contracts of some players and Yossi was one of these players.

"He has been really good for us over the last year, scoring crucial goals and getting assists, so we wanted to keep him and I'm really pleased with the extension."
