Not a great performance apart from a brief spell before HT- it's a thin line between what we saw today and the Birmingham game.

Overall team 5/10.

That was as dire a football match as I've ever had the misfortune of watching. There was no surprise the fans boo-ed the decision to bring off Crouch instead of Morientes. That was as bad a performance as I've ever seen from a Liverpool player at Anfield. Some of the players in the penalty shoot-out at half time looked more impressive than him. Liverpool looked inept and why can we never capitalise on a one-man advantage? City almost did a Birmingham and no-one can really say they wouldn't have deserved it.

Reina - 7 - he gives the defense much more confidence with his positioning and his quick feet attacking the ball as a sweper
Back 4 - 8 - Solid game again from the back 4 with an assured game Agger!
Kewell - 7.5 - Good game - great finish although I thought he took 1 touch too many!
Alonso - 8 - for carrying on while he was still bleeding!
Hamann - 6.5 - Gave the ball away a few times today very unlike him!
Gerrard 8 - Great performance from the captain in his rightful position in the centre - let's hope he stays there!
Kromkamp - 7 - Nothing spectacular buthing nothing wrong and some nice touches on a few occasions!
Crouch - 8 - Fantastic back-heel that nearly went it, unlucky with the header and the half-volley and held-up play well
Nando - 4 - Sorry but his time is up as a starter - it's 14 games without a goal and he's not even a threat, had a good chance after being put through by Hamann and hit it softer than my 10 week old son would have! Time to be dropped!

Overall - 7 - Very dissapointed we didn't hit 3 or 4 past city today, even before Barton got sent off they where there for the taking but once again we fail to put a game to bed!

Reina 7.5 - 2 superbes arrets
Finnan 6 - un peu moins bon que d'habitude
Hiipya 6.5 - match correct
Agger 5.5 - quelques erreurs qui auraient pu couter cheres
Riise 6 - n'a pas apporté beaucoup en attaque, plutot solide en defense
Kromkamp 5.5 - n'apporte pas grand chose au jeu
Hamman 8 - excellent en recuperation et des super passes
Gerrard 8 - bien meilleur au centre qu'a droite. Son meilleur match depuis longtemps
Kewell 7 - pas grand chose a part le but
Morientes 5 - s'est bien battu en 1ere mi-temps, mais a par ca rien du tout . Pourqoui est-il titulaire a tous les matchs?
Crouch 7.5 - s'est crée beaucoup d'occasion, pas chanceux sur sa frappe sur la barre. Mais bon, il a 4 occasions franches et il n'en met pas une dedans
