- Attention je ne veux pas vous decourager mais Lyon a recuperé pas mal d'argent avec Eyssien et Aulas lorgne sur Owen.
Je reve d'un retour d'Owen mais attention a Lyon messieurs. Lyon are ready to splash some of their Michael Essien cash on a bid for Michael Owen. The French club are set to receive a massive £26m from the sale of the Ghana midfielder, and they are looking to buy a world-class player. Lyon are now managed by former Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier, who claims to have a good relationship with the Real Madrid striker. Owen was rumoured to be on the verge of a return to Liverpool, but Madrid are unlikely to allow him to leave for Anfield if the French club come in with a bigger offer. Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas said: "If you ask me whether I would be happy to welcome Michael Owen to the club, the answer is yes, of course I would." Houllier himself said: "I get on well with Michael and I still have contact with him and his family." Real Madrid want £12m for the England man - a figure that would be well within Lyon's range with the Essien money burning a hole in their pocket. foot365.com désolé owen n'iras jamais a lyon..vous etes fou??? |

| England captain David Beckham revealed his desire for team-mate Michael Owen to stay at Real Madrid and reject a potential move back to the Premiership in search of regular club football. However, Beckham, who was placed in an unenviable position in balancing the interests of England and Real, admitted the striker was facing a tough decision in his career. Beckham declared: "I hope he stays at Real Madrid as he's a good friend and one of the best strikers in the world. When he plays, he scores goals and his record speaks for itself." He added: "Obviously he needs to be happy and to be playing football. That will be his decision and it's a hard decision to make. "Even last season, when he didn't play as many games, he still looked sharper than I'd seen him for a long time. "He's at one of the biggest clubs in the world, if not the biggest. He's got some of the best strikers in the world around him and it's a hard team to get into. I'd obviously hate being on the bench, it's very hard when you're not in the team as a footballer. "I wouldn't say he's concerned, he just wants to play his football. That's what Michael Owen is all about - playing football and scoring goals, he does that better than a lot of other strikers around the world." Now let's hear what you've got to say about this story... or anything else happening in the world of football. Send your opinions, rants, praise or abuse to theeditor@football365.com recente declaration de captain becham...il ferait bien de se la fermé pour une fois... |

| Le club ne peut rien faire si le joueur n'est pas d'accord. |
