Il devrait rester environ £ 10 M, si j'ai bien compté.

franchement, avec £30 M, on aurait pu ne pas acheter Reina et faire un gros coup d'aprés moi, mais bon si owen vient je serais comblé

je trouve que niveau transfert, on se fait souvent arnaquer même si on peut trouver des explications pour chaque cas (Owen, Macca si j'me trompe pas, X.Alonso)

Par ex, X.Alonso, on l'a payer combien ??? même si il est fort, je pense qu'a "l'époque" il jouait "seulement" a la Sociedad et son prix (15) était un peu exagéré mais je peux me tromper

Oui, il jouait à la real Sociedad, mais on n'était pas seul sur le coup ! Les autres clubs aussi ont des yeux, à commencer par les grands clubs espagnols (Barça, Real) qui étaient prêts à l'accueillir à bras ouverts. Donc, pour devancer les autres, il fallait payer. Mais bon, le Xabi, il les valait ses millions.

aprés une telle premiére saison, faudrait payer ( enfin pas la peine les autres clubs de vous enflamez ce que je dis n'est pas officiel ) au moins £30 M pour nous l'arracher.

c'est vrai que les grands clubs était dessus...maintenant il a pris de la valeur, de toute facon, Xabi est intransférable, c'est......moi qui le dis

en out cas le pire ca a été cissé...145Millions de franc...

lfc est un club riche.alors ce n'est pas étonnant que les autre clubs vendent chèrement leurs joueurs.

This is an excellent question Doc, I was thinking exactly the same thing.
I do not know how much he has available or even how much the board told him they would make available. However by my calculations and I may be wrong so I will be pleased to hear other views on this, he has spent a after Baros has been sold for assume 6.5Million roughly 5 million pounds.

Let me know if you disagree folks but add up all of his sales and then take off his purchases.

More relevant perhaps is not how much he has to spend but how he has succeeded in managing the salaries being paid. As in my opinion this is more important.

As for us being a rich club, forget it. it will take approximately 3 years for the losses accrued under Houiller to work there way through the club accounts. We made a massive loss last year. 26,000,000 Pounds

We lost a packet of money last year and even this year I expect us to make a loss as we write down the money we have lost on Houillier' purchases.

Having said that we did still succeed in reducing our overall debt, despite having made a loss. As I have said previously it will take 3 years to recover from the GH era.

Total net spending = 8 Million Pounds

That should tell you that Raffa has some money still to spend, so we are going to see some activity in the next week.

More importantly for me though is that IMO he has significantly reduced the weekly wage bill by shipping out a large number of mediocre players who were picking up large paychecks. i.e. we were still paying 50% of Diouf' salary!

I missed Diarra off of the players out listed above and I assume they paid us something for him which only means Raffa has quite a lot left in the kitty.

This should tell us that either we are going to see some big money names coming in or that he can't get the players he really wants and is keeping the money for when he can.

He is certainly not wasting the funds available to him.

Well Autumn I think it is quite revealing when you see just how little he has actually spent if we assume he got 2 Million for Diarra. Not an unreasonable amount for a French International Raffa has only spent 6 million.
