GERRARD VOTED OCTOBER'S TOP MAN

Steven Gerrard has been voted Liverpool's star man during October by fans who took part in an exclusive vote on this website. The captain played his 400th game during the month and celebrated it in style by scoring a fantastic free-kick against Arsenal.

Gerrard took 29 per cent of the votes to finish first, while Javier Mascherano was second and Jamie Carragher third.

Fernando Torres was voted Liverpool's star man during August and September.
