Liverpool's Luis Garcia has taken the accoloade as the final 'Player of the Round' of this season, after his performance for the Reds in their enthralling victory over Chelsea at Old Trafford.
The Spaniard has also made further FA Cup history along with team-mates Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard. It is the first time that three players from the same club have won the Player of the Round award in successive rounds.
Garcia's outstanding half-volley proved decisive in Liverpool's victory over Chelsea, for although at the time of his strike the Reds were looking comfortable Jose Mourinho's men managed to make it a tight finish that could have sent the game into extra-time.
