Tonights Match

Well it looks as though Raffa is taking no chances for tonights match. Whilst some might take it as granted with the lead we have from the away leg, I am not. Sofia showed me in the first leg that they are a dangerous attacking side and they come to Anfield with nothing to lose and everything to gain.

So it looks as though Raffa will put Didi in as a straight swop for Stevie G. This has to be the right move as Didi is very effective sitting in front of our back four.

An early goal and then maybe we can give some of the youngsters a game.

I am afraid the game could be really hard. Without Stevie it looks we have some problems to score goals, and as CSKA will play without waiting for anything ...

I agree Yves I don't think this is going to be an easy match for us. We really do need to score early and settle thing down becasue if the opposite happens and they get one early there could be some tense moments.

I have to say though that I am really impressed by what I have seen of Reina so far. The whole defense seems more confident. Look at how many goals we have conceeded with him between the posts. Zero in the Prem. We might complain about not scoring enough but as long as you are not letting them in at the other end there is always hope.

yep.we have some talented defensive midfielders and a strong defense.
i hope we won't be caught in a mouse trap.

It will be interesting to see the new line up playing without Gerrard. We put in some solid performances last season without him. The only criticism you can have of Stevie is that sometimes he does not have enough confidence in his team mates and tries to do it all himself. Footy is a team game though.

So we may see Sissoko and Alonso shining bright tonight.

Je pense que c'est sur TPS foot (anciennement EPL, option TPS via TPS ou Noos) mais en différé, après le match de Monaco ....
