Liverpool come 23rd on the list of best supported clubs by stadium attendance.
This only goes to show how far behind we are on this front and also the need for the new stadium.
As a footnote the top of the list was Man U who reportedly have not sold all of their season ticket places for this season.
I suppose we should take not of this in as much as there is no point in building a 70,000 capacity stadium if you cannot fill it
every week.
I think for us somewhere around 62,000 would be about right and we might even have trouble filling that at times and
nobody wants to see the team peforming with rows and rows of empty seats available.
