Reds captain Steven Gerrard would make a fantastic James Bond - according to 007 himself.


Liverpool fan Daniel Craig, who takes the lead in the latest Bond movie Casino Royale, reckons the midfielder has all the attributes needed to be a secret agent.

"Steven Gerrard could be a good Bond. He's a good leader, so who knows!" he said.

The actor dreamed of scoring a winning goal at Anfield while he was growing up in Hoylake.

But despite believing the skipper would make a great Bond, he has no desire to trade places.

"I don't think I could keep up with them, so I'll stick as I am," said Craig.

Pas étonnant, il est né pas très loin de Pool, à Chester, et il a commencé le théatre très jeune, avec une compagnie de Liverpool.

Pourvu que l'espion de sa Majesté nous vienne en secour cette année!

Sinon je n'ai jamais voulu voir d'autres 007 qu'avec Sean Connery (pas parcqu'il a le même prenom que moi) mais je vais peut etre aller voir Casino Royal quand même!
