The club have nothing to do with the CL shirt fiasco. Reebok won't make any more. From what I can gather the reason there are no more available is Reebok have to do a run of a certain amount to make it economically viable for them, they don't think they'll sell that amount of shirts and so will be left with a load of shirts and a huge loss. There is nothing Rick Parry or the club can do apart from hiring a crack squad of on-the-run Vietnam vets to force Reebok to do it.
Of course £80 for that is a rip-off, but I guarantee they'll all sell out (They'd probably sell 20,000 if they were made available) a fool and his money are soon parted, if people want to pay that then let them. I really can't understand people being pissed off about it, largely because they're the same people who've been criticising our merchandising dept. for an age.
