Baros included in squad for Kaunas clash
Liverpool have included Milan Baros in their squad for tomorrows UEFA Champions League second round, first leg qualifying encounter with FBK Kaunas as speculation surrounding the strikers' future continues.
The European Champions touched down in Lithuania this afternoon with Baros included in the travelling party after he was omitted from the squad for last week's match with Total Network Solutions.
It was reported this morning that Liverpool have put a £7m asking price on the Czech international with Aston Villa one of several clubs said to be interested.
Manager Rafael Benitez said this afternoon: "Milan is a good player, he is working well and scoring goals in pre-season. I am happy with him."
"At the moment I'm thinking about tomorrow's game and not about offers for our players. Whether he plays tomorrow or not it doesn't matter, he is still our player. He is here with us, he is in the squad and gives us another possibility."
