Everton v Pool Empty
PostSubject: Everton v Pool   Everton v Pool EmptyFri 15 Oct 2010 - 16:56

Battle of the basement? Who would of thought a Merseyside could be billed that way?

No escaping the harsh realities of life though.

Roy can only hope that with our new owners looking on the team will raise their game. The local lads will give their all in this one, problem is we don't have enough of them.
The change in ownership though should shake up one ot two now though. If they thought they were safe as the club couldn't afford to move them on or had too many off the pitch problems
to worry about the on the pitch ones?

The rules of the game just changed.

All of the players and all of the managing and coaching staff are playing for their careers now. And that is just the way it should be. No comfort zones.

We have Torres fit and raring to go, Konchesky back at full back. That means we really only have Digger out so nearly a full squad to choose from.

The Bitters will fired up for this one, I have never known a derby match with us 3rd bottom and them 4th bottom. There is a lot more than local bragging rights at stake here.

Hope Mr Henry is not the squeamish type?
