Kewell va reprendre avec la reserve

En gros normalement Kewell devrait reprendre avec la reserve qui va jouer contre celle de Crew.

WHILE the rest of the Socceroos are lining up to take on Argentina tonight, star Harry Kewell is set to be turning out to face Crewe Alexandra Reserves for Liverpool Reserves again.
The injury-plagued winger is one of the vital ingredients missing from the Australian side after not playing a single game for his Premier League club this season.

Kewell appeared to be on the road back to full fitness following a whole year out last season in the wake of Australia’s World Cup campaign, when he turned up on crutches for the vital Italy game.

It was originally believed he had gout but that was later rediagnosed as being septic arthritis. He underwent treatment for that and a series of operations in Sydney for his recurring groin and joint injuries.

He missed almost all of Liverpool’s entire season last year but eased himself back to fitness with appearances in the reserves. Coach Rafa Benitez insisted he would not start him until he had reach “Olympic” standards of fitness.

He recovered just in time for Australia’s disappointing Asian Cup campaign but failed to show his usual brilliance.

But when he returned to his club after the Socceroo’s dismal exit from the competition, he injured himself yet again in pre-season training with another groin strain.

Just before his latest injury, Kewell admitted he thought his career may have been drawing to an end.

"Thoughts like that did creep into my mind,” he told his club’s website.

"There were fleeting thoughts. You get over one injury and then another one appears and all of a sudden you're wound up in one big mess and you think, am I ever going to be the same?"

Since then Benitez has introduced Dutch wonderkid Ryan Babel into the squad as a potential Kewell replacement down the left flank.

Harry was linked with a move to Spanish Segunda Division club Real Sociedad last month by newspapers in England but last week the Kewell camp scoffed at the suggestion.

And today Sociedad manager Chris Coleman – former Fulham coach – admitted he couldn’t afford to take the Socceroo to Europe.

In his column for the UK’s Daily Mail, he admitted: “Last week we were linked with signing Harry Kewell from Liverpool, but have you seen my budget here? We have filled the left-sided position with the signing of David Vaughan from Crewe.”

Now Harry is battling once again for fitness and a place in a Liverpool first team which has been enjoying a successful start to the season thanks to new imports like Babel, Fernando Torres and Andriy Voronin, even with skipper Steven Gerrard under an injury cloud.

His outing against Crewe Alexandra tomorrow night on a muddy playing field in the north of England is his latest step on yet another comeback trail.

Instead of Carlos Tevez, Javier Saviola and Lionel Messi at the MCG in front of up to 80,000, he’ll be facing the stars of Crewe reserves like Stuart Tomlinson, Mark Carrington and Tom Pope in front of two men and their dog.

"I've just got to roll with it. I've got to take my time and make my way into the game,” Kewell said during the close season. “I haven't been out for this long and I'm looking forward to it.

"I've been off for 12 months now and you almost claim that as a little retirement. It's rested my body, mentally and physically.

"Obviously with the injuries I was still working but to just step back and watch games was good for me, to step back and relax a little bit.

"But I'm ready now for the new challenge."

Justement, il ne l'envisage pas. Et c'est ça le plus embêtant.

J'imagine Kewell dans quelques années, un journaliste lui demande: "Que faisait-tu comme sport?
- Eh bien, j'étais footballeur.
- Super, quel position avais-tu?
- J'étais souvent allongé sur un lit d'hôpital.
- C'était pas trop dur pour jouer au foot?
- Ben non, c'est l'idéal pour jouer au foot à la Playstation."

Il pourrait meme ajouter;"En plus c'est genial meme si je jouais jamais sur PES j'avais de super bonne stats."

Dur d'y croire, sur la durée en tout cas, car s'il revient, fatalement il va se blesser .... On aura eu droit à deux bons semestres d'HarryQ, le premier à son arrivée en 2003, et le second fin 2005 début 2006, remember son but contre Spurs ou son match contre Chelsea en cup ...

Aurelio aussi a repris hier avec la reserve.Match gagné 2-1

A noter que Alonso notre playmaker a joué en défense centrale aux côtés de Hobbs ! Choix bizarre mais judicieux puisqu'Alonso a marqué le premier but des Reds !

En fin de compte Kewell n'a pas joué avec la réserve mais on ne sait pas pourquoi il n'est pas encore rétabli par contre Aurelio a rejoué 45 minutes pour la première fois depuis sa blessure face au PSV en Ligue des Champions.

Quelqu'un pourrait il me dire qui est Pacheco? Ce n'est pas un grand espoir du Barça? Merci pour votre réponse.

si c'est une jeune joueur qu'on a été cherché dans les prodiges du Barça. sur le topic concernant le joueur, quelqu'un avait posté une vidéo et il semblerait que techniquement il soit déjà super a l'aise. après a voir,soit il perce soit non.

J'ai visité Anfield en Juin avec mon fils, et lorsque nous sommes arrivés devant la tribune centrale, le guide (un petit marrant) nous a indiqué où se plaçait Rafa, les remplaçants etc, puis un peu derrière la tribune officielle avec à côté celle réservée aux joueurs supendus ou blessés. Il a ajouté que dans cette tribune, Kewell avait un season ticket

Sinon les jeunes m'ont l'air trés prometteur.Le petit ( Dani ) prodige du barca, semble avoir de grande qualité.

A mon avis il ferai mieux de voir son salaire a la baisse.Il fut un temps où j'attendais avec impatience son retour, maintenant je me demande même plus ce qu'il devient.J'éspére pour lui ( et peut être pour nous ) qu'il reviennes a son meilleur niveau.

Harry Kewell notre socceroos pourrait faire son grand retour face à Everton dans deux semaines. Son compatriote Tim Cahill devrait faire son retour aussi côté Toffees. C'est une super nouvelle pour nous et Kewell ! J'espère qu'il boostera notre team et qu'il reviendra à son meilleur niveau !
Je pense qu'il débutera sur le banc à Goodison Park ça serait déja bien !

"As soon as I had the problem in the Werder Bremen game I was looking at when I could get back," he told the Everton website.

"The first goal was the Uefa Cup games and then it was the derby.

"It is a brilliant game to play in and I have enjoyed some good times (in those games).

"As you get older and play more, I have to look after my body."

Meanwhile, the Socceroos could have one more international this year as Football Federation Australia looks to add a fixture in Europe in November.

It's believed the FFA are in negotiations with several opponents for a game they would ideally like to hold in the UK, probably at Loftus Road in west London.

The tie would be on one of the two FIFA dates in November, 17 or 21 - by which time they could have a new coach.

Dick Advocaat, the man ready to take the Socceroos reins, will see his tenure as coach of Russian side Zenit St Petersburg end the previous weekend with the climax of the Russian Premier League season on November 11.

Without him the FFA would have to decide whether to take Graham Arnold away from the Olyroos' final qualifier for the Beijing Olympics, in North Korea on November 21.

Enfin le retour de Kewell.
Je pense qu'il doit être impatient de revenir sur le terrain. Cette nouvelle est positive pour lui et pour le club, j'espère qu'il pourras au moins jouer quelques minutes contre Everton.
Maintenant il doit juste revenir a son meilleur niveau pour qu'il puisse aider l'équipe a remporter le championnat.
