anderson "j'ai failli arêter le football"

anderson dit qu'après avoir été rejetté par watford,il avait envie d'arrêter le football.
heureusement que LFC l'a repéré.

ANDERSON: I ALMOST GAVE UP FOOTBALL

Paul Anderson will line up for Liverpool at Anfield tonight in the Youth Cup final against Man City but the youngster admits that if it hadn't of been for his dad, he might have packed in football altogether after being rejected by West Brom.
The 17-year-old midfielder, who joined Liverpool from Hull during the January transfer window, was on the books of the Hawthorns club as a youngster but was told he would never make it as a Premiership player.

After an unused substitute appearance against Benfica at Anfield earlier this year as the Reds were knocked out of the Champions League, Anderson will be hoping for a better result tonight in front of the biggest crowd he's ever played in front of.

"I thought I'd done enough to get a deal but they just said they didn't think I'd ever be a Premiership player, Anderson told LFC Magazine this week. "At least they were honest. Adrian Boothroyd, now manager at Watford, was the man who told me. To be fair to him, he said I was a good player, just not quite good enough for them to hand me a contract. I didn't agree but at least it was done to my face."

After the rejection, Anderson had to think long and hard about continuing to chase his football dream.

"I didn't think I wanted to do this any more," he admits. "I wasn't sure I wanted to be a footballer but my dad made sure I knuckled down. I wouldn't be at Liverpool now without him. He was an apprentice at Hull but maybe didn't have the right attitude to make it all the way. When he saw that starting to creep into me he was there with the advice."

oui un grand espoir.on a du bol de le recuperer quand meme mais tant mieux les autres ont qu' a avoir des yeux.

c clair tant pis pour eux et tant mieux pour NOUS!!ce gars la je le vois aller tres loin si il garde les pieds sur terre ce que je pense....

Waouh j'ai vu des matchs de lui, il est super fort, en plus il est plus proche de mon age, je sens que ca va etre mon joueur prefréré, trop bien ce joueur
