Pour ceux que ca interesse voici les infos sur le nouveau bouquin de Paul Tomkins
Dear all,
New LFC book for summer 2008
I am currently working on a new book, which I expect to be available in July or August. It is an historical LFC book, and covers a lot of the important people and events from the post-war era through to the modern day, including those of the current season. The book only has a working title at present; more to follow on that soon. I believe it's a very unique look at the club's history, different from what's been produced before, and based on what I've written so far I feel very optimistic about its chances of success.
While it is still fairly early, I will start taking pre-orders as of now. As ever it will help fund printing of the book, and also help generate some much-needed income whilst I finish writing it.
There are 250 limited edition copies available to pre-order. These will be produced with a collector's edition cover, that will have gold printing as opposed to the silver of the bookshop version (when I say gold, it's obviously ink, not gold leaf

). All copies will be signed, and the first 100 will be hand numbered too. These are £19.99 including postage to anywhere in the world. The book should arrive with you one-to-two weeks before it hits the shops.
http://www.paultomkins.com/Newbook.htmlThere's also an extra offer. For the first 10 to pay £50 using the lower link on the above page, you will be included in the Brains Trust, which means answering a few simple survey questions to help compile a broad view of one aspect of the club's history. You will get your name in the front of the book, in a page dedicated to those who have contributed, which will also include a few experts*. (*allegedly

). For the £50, you'll get one of the limited editions of the book too.
Other news
An Anfield Anthology (4 stars in the new FourFourTwo, and "excellent", Brian Reade of the Daily Mirror) is still available, but Above Us Only Sky is now totally out of print. I've had word that AAA is going to be taken by all Borders stores, but this could take some time to happen, and payment from which won't be for a few months afterwards. Sales have been fine up to now, but given that the book had already sold a fair few copies in its first edition format, it was produced more as a stop-gap than a major release.
